Mission

The Junior League of Martin County, Inc. (JLMC) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Our Members

The JLMC membership is composed of a diverse group of more than 100 women who annually give over 500 uncompensated hours of service to projects and community agencies. Active members range in age from 21 to 85, come from various backgrounds, and serve on numerous boards and coalitions throughout the community.

Focus

Throughout the 2015-2016 League year, the JLMC will again participate in the International Coastal Clean-Up and partner with the Martin County School District, United Way White Doves Holiday Project, Devereux CBC, Hibiscus Children’s Center and more. A combined dedication of over 300 volunteer hours to these organizations furthers the JLMC’s mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and improve the community.
